Maths is a core subject and each year group is taught the objectives outlined in the National Curriculum.

All children at Morton are taught across the three keys areas of Fluency, Problem Solving and Reasoning.

Through a varied range of contexts, children have the opportunity to enhance their learning by applying their knowledge and skills in different ways. This develops and enhances each child's conceptual understanding of the subject.
