Welcome to Hedgehogs!
Our teacher is Mrs Harrison. We are helped by Mrs Roberts, Mrs Taylor and Mrs Ewing.
We all went on a Bear Hunt. Squelch Squerch through the mud tray!
We love to sing, dance and work as a team.
This year we have planted carrots, potatoes, spring onions, peppers, tomatoes, aubergines, garlic, snowdrops, daffodils, sunflowers and nastursiums!!
We encourage our children to come up with their own ideas, be independent and challenge themselves.
Above all we focus on children having a happy, safe and exciting start to school which enables them to grow in independence and confidence as the year progresses.
The home school links are really important to us and we love it when the children bring in a new piece of home learning to share with the class. We use Tapestry (an online learning journal) to share the children's learning in school with parents and carers. Parents and carers can add to this as well. You can access this through the website or via the app. If you would like any more information or support with tapestry please let us know.
If you have any questions please feel free to contact Mrs Harrison in school or on 01778 570389 or firstname.lastname@example.org You can also comment on Tapestry and we can reply directly through the website.
If your interested in finding out more about your child starting school, visits are welcome at anytime during the year - just let us know when you'd like to come and have a look round.
