Uniform is an important aspect of creating a shared identity through our school community. We expect children to attend school looking smart and proud to wear their school uniform.
Pupils are responsible for looking after their personal possessions. Parents are therefore requested to please ensure that all items of school clothing and equipment are adequately marked with your child’s name.
Pupils are not required to wear branded uniform as long as the colour matches from an alternative outlet.
The school has a good selection of pre-loved uniform available for parents in the entrance area.

Early Years Outdoor Clothing
Children in Little Owls and Hedgehogs should keep the following items at school to enable outdoor access in all weather conditions (however school keeps a selection of outdoor clothing to allow all children to take part):
Waterproof Trousers
Wellies
We recommend that children starting in Reception wear jumpers in sizes 26 or 28, as size 24 may be too small for them to manage independently.
Where to Purchase Uniform
Uniform can be ordered online via School Trends or Arion

Arion Shop - Morton C of E Primary School https://www.arionshop.co.uk/school-shop/morton-church-of-england-primary-school
Jewellery & Personal Appearance
A single small stud or small sleeper may be worn in each ear lobe but must be removable for all PE/swimming/sports activities. Pupils who wear earrings must be able to remove them independently.*
Facial or alternative body piercings are not permitted.
Gel nails, acrylic nails, nail varnish (even natural colours), false eyelashes, eyebrow enhancements, or lash extensions are not allowed.
Hair extensions or clip on hair are not allowed.
Hair should be tied up or back with a small/appropriate plain coloured hair accessory.
Please note:
Where adjustments are required for individual additional SEND or protected characteristics parents will need to be discussed with the school.
*When families would like to investigate ear lobe piercings we strongly recommend that this is done during the first week of the Summer holidays. It can be a long process until children are able to remove their earrings independently which can cause considerable difficulty for PE/ Sport and Swimming lessons.
